2. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins on October 17, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. Entries must be submitted before November 20, 2026, at 00:00 UTC.
Entries submitted outside this period will not be accepted.
The initial prize draw is scheduled for November 20, 2026.
3. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open to legal residents worldwide who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry, subject to the following exclusions and applicable legal restrictions.
Residents of Brazil and Italy are not eligible to participate.
Participation is also unavailable in any country, territory or region where the Giveaway is prohibited, where awarding the prize would violate applicable sanctions, or where the Organizer cannot lawfully conduct the promotion or provide the prize.
The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
Participants must have access to a Reddit account and be able to receive private messages from the Organizer.
Reddit Account Eligibility
To participate in the giveaway, your Reddit account must meet both of the following requirements:
- At least 30 days old at the giveaway entry deadline.
- At least 50 combined Reddit karma (post karma + comment karma) at the giveaway entry deadline.
The giveaway entry deadline is November 20, 2026, at 00:00 UTC.
The organizer reserves the right to verify these requirements during the final eligibility review. Entries that do not meet both requirements will be excluded from the prize drawing.
By entering, participants confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements.
Only one entry per person is permitted.
The Organizer may request reasonable information necessary to verify eligibility and may reject entries that do not comply with these Rules. Unnecessary identity documents will not be requested as part of the normal entry process.
4. No Purchase Necessary
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
Participation is completely free.
The Age of Failon – Birth of the Hero demo is available to download and play free of charge.
Purchasing the game or any other product does not increase the chances of winning.
Participants are responsible for any ordinary internet access or equipment costs they independently incur.
5. How to Enter
To participate, entrants must:
- Download and launch the free Age of Failon – Birth of the Hero demo.
- In the demo's main menu, click Giveaway to obtain your unique giveaway code.
- Visit the official Giveaway page on the Xarox Games website.
- Enter their Reddit username and giveaway code.
- Answer eight multiple-choice questions about the game.
- Provide feedback about the game containing between 80 and 1,000 characters.
- Confirm their eligibility and accept these Official Rules.
- Submit their entry before the Giveaway deadline.
- Only after the website confirms successful submission, publish the same giveaway code in a comment under the official Reddit giveaway post, from the Reddit account named in the submitted entry.
Both the website form and the Reddit comment are mandatory and must be submitted before November 20, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. A Reddit comment posted before successful form submission does not satisfy this requirement.
The official Reddit giveaway post is linked from How to participate. If the link is not yet available, participants must return for it and complete the comment step before the deadline. Posting a code elsewhere does not fulfill this requirement.
The comment author's Reddit username must match the username in the submitted entry, and the giveaway code in the comment must match that entry's code in the giveaway database. Keep the comment available for verification.
Each question has four possible answers and one correct answer.
The eight questions are randomly selected from the Giveaway question pool.
Each giveaway code may be used for one successful entry only. A Reddit account may be associated with only one successful entry.
A submitted entry cannot be modified after successful submission.
6. Valid Entries and Fair Participation
An entry is considered valid when the website form has been successfully submitted, the required matching Reddit comment has subsequently been posted before the deadline, and the participant meets these Rules.
On the day of the draw, the Organizer will manually check the comments under the official Reddit giveaway post against submitted entries. Entries with missing, deleted, late or non-matching comments are invalid and will not be included in the draw. Successful website submission alone is not confirmation of final eligibility.
All valid entries are eligible for the prize draw, regardless of how many quiz questions were answered correctly.
Correct answers affect the participant's drawing weight as described in Section 8.
Participants must not use automated entry systems, fabricated identities, multiple accounts, manipulated giveaway codes or other methods intended to circumvent the one-entry-per-person rule.
The Organizer may investigate suspicious entries and disqualify entries where there are reasonable, documented grounds to conclude that these Rules have been violated.
The Organizer will apply the same eligibility and drawing rules to all participants.
7. Prizes
The prizes are Steam activation keys for Age of Failon – Birth of the Hero.
The maximum number of prizes is 80 Steam activation keys.
The number of prizes awarded depends on the total number of valid entries received before the Giveaway deadline:
| Number of Valid Entries | Steam Keys Awarded |
|---|---|
| 1–99 | Up to 20 |
| 100–249 | 30 |
| 250–499 | 40 |
| 500–999 | 50 |
| 1,000–1,999 | 60 |
| 2,000–3,999 | 70 |
| 4,000 or more | 80 |
The number of prizes cannot exceed the number of eligible participants.
If no valid entries are received, no prizes will be awarded.
Each winner may receive a maximum of one Steam key.
The estimated retail value of each key is USD 12.99, and the maximum estimated aggregate value of all 80 prizes is USD 1,039.20. These are provisional estimates because the final retail price of the game has not yet been established.
Prizes are non-transferable by the Organizer, cannot be exchanged for cash, and have no cash alternative.
The Steam keys are intended for the game's standard release, including Early Access when available. Keys may be activated before release, but activation does not provide early access to an unreleased build.
The game's Early Access release is currently planned for November 26, 2026. This date may change.
Steam activation and use are subject to applicable Steam terms and any relevant regional restrictions.
8. Winner Selection and Weighted Drawing
Winners will be selected randomly from all valid entries using a weighted drawing system.
Each participant receives a drawing weight based on the number of correct answers to the eight quiz questions:
| Correct Answers | Drawing Weight |
|---|---|
| 0–2 | 1× |
| 3–4 | 3× |
| 5–6 | 6× |
| 7–8 | 10× |
A higher drawing weight increases the probability of being selected but does not guarantee a prize.
Each participant's probability of selection depends on their drawing weight and the weights of the other eligible participants.
The drawing will be conducted using a server-side random selection process.
Each winner will be removed from subsequent drawings to ensure that no participant receives more than one prize.
Individual quiz results and drawing weights will not be publicly disclosed.
9. Winner Notification
The initial drawing is scheduled for November 20, 2026.
Winners will be contacted exclusively through Reddit private messages sent by the Organizer's official Reddit account, u/mtutko (https://www.reddit.com/user/mtutko/).
Participants are responsible for configuring their Reddit privacy settings to allow incoming messages from the Organizer.
The Organizer will never request payment, passwords, or sensitive account credentials to claim a prize.
Each winner must respond within seven (7) calendar days from the time the notification is sent. The claim period begins when the Organizer sends the notification.
The response must confirm that the winner wishes to claim the prize.
The Organizer aims to send the Steam activation key within two (2) hours after receiving the winner's confirmation.
This two-hour period is an intended service target and is not a guaranteed delivery deadline.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their Reddit account can receive the Organizer's message and for checking their messages during the winner notification period.
10. Unclaimed Prizes and Replacement Winners
If a winner fails to respond within seven calendar days, declines the prize, or is found ineligible, the winner's claim to the prize may expire.
An unclaimed prize may be awarded to a replacement winner.
Replacement winners will be selected from the remaining eligible participants using the same weighted drawing method described in Section 8.
Each replacement winner will receive their own seven-day response period.
The Organizer may repeat this process while eligible participants remain and prizes are available.
A participant who has already received a prize cannot be selected again.
11. Feedback
Feedback submitted as part of the Giveaway is intended to help the Organizer understand player experiences and improve Age of Failon – Birth of the Hero.
Feedback does not need to be positive.
The content or sentiment of feedback does not influence the drawing weight or the participant's eligibility, provided the submission meets the stated requirements and these Rules.
Submitting feedback does not grant the Organizer permission to publish it with the participant's identity for promotional purposes. Any such use would require an appropriate separate legal basis or permission.
12. Privacy and Personal Data
The Organizer is the controller of personal data collected for the Giveaway.
The Giveaway may process the following information:

The Organizer will not intentionally alter the drawing rules or prize allocation to favor particular participants.
14. Changes, Suspension and Cancellation
The Organizer may suspend, modify or cancel the Giveaway where reasonably necessary due to legal requirements, serious technical failures, security incidents, fraud or circumstances beyond the Organizer's reasonable control.
Any material changes will be communicated through the official Xarox Games website.
Changes will not be used to arbitrarily disadvantage participants or avoid awarding legitimately earned prizes.
Nothing in these Rules excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
